Parca Parents Networking Meeting 

Eva Witkowska, of adaptivePlay

 

Eva Witkowska, of adaptivePlay, will discuss Adapted Toys, how they can be used, their benefits in developing skills as the well as the basic benefit of play and fun.  She will also discuss the actual toys and their adaptation as it is done at adaptivePlay.  The mission of adaptivePlay is to bring play to everyone; create a stronger link between play and therapy; and raise awareness within the toy industry to encourage toy manufacturers to develop products that are inclusive of children with special needs.

Sue Digre, Director of Family Support Services and Advocacy at Parca, leads the Parca Parent Networking Group.  

This group provides support to  parents and family members of children and adults with developmental disabilties.

The group typically meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month be aware the day and date may change due to holidays.
